RALLY BETA / LEGAL
Rally privacy notice
This notice explains what Rally collects during the private test, why, and who can see it. Jack Vorwald ("we") runs the test.
What we collect
- Your sign-in identity: the email address, name and Google profile picture that the sign-in service (Cloudflare Access, with Google) passes to Rally.
- What you add: projects, audio, MIDI, recordings, comments, and the email addresses of people you invite.
- Your acceptance of the tester agreement: which versions you accepted, your confirmation that you are 18 or older and live in the United States, and when.
- Technical data: IP addresses and request details in our providers' logs.
- Sampled request logs: the test site keeps Cloudflare Workers Logs for about 10% of requests, with query strings removed. Cloudflare keeps them for a few days.
- Reports you send with Report a problem: your text, the release, the screen, your browser and operating system, and the project id if you are in one.
Why
To run the test: to sign you in, let you work on projects with the people you invite, keep your work, secure the service and answer your questions. We do not sell your data, show you ads, or use your content to train AI models.
Who can see it
Members of a project see that project, its content and the names of its members. Our providers process data for us: Cloudflare (hosting, storage, sign-in and logs), Google (when you sign in with a Google account), and GitHub, the team's private issue tracker, for reports you send with Report a problem, without your name or email.
How long we keep it
- A deleted project can be restored for 30 days, and is removed for good about a day after that.
- A sound removed from a project is kept for 24 hours, then deleted.
- Backup copies, once Rally has them, may keep data for a limited time after it is deleted.
- Your acceptance records are kept even after your projects are deleted, as a record of what you agreed to.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or ask anything about it: jaqstudioshq@gmail.com.
Age
The test is for people 18 or older who live in the United States.
If Rally changes hands
If a company takes over Rally, it would hold your data under this notice.
